Dansdemo end of residency presentation

End of residency presentations by Sanna Blennow, Magdalena Isaksson, Astrid Menasanch, Zacharias Blad and Erika Nykvist.

"Mwen di Quick tu di Quate" is an explorative experiment where Erika Nykvist examines the stage; Lyanno who is on it, the audience; the spectators and the relationship between them. A dialog with Lyanna about her childhood in St Lucia and her thoughts on living in Sweden today. Inspired by Jérôme Bel's piece "Véronique Doisneau".

Astrid Menasach performs "By entering through this door", a sketch of thoughts about who brings about a movement, who has a right to a movement and where does a movement go?

Magdalena and Sanna, talked about how everything within performing arts already has been done. YouTube, Q&A, recycle, Speed Dating, and so they wondered; What is allowed and what is not allowed to do on stage? When on stage, one is taught to do one thing; dance. One is also taught what not to do when ’on’. Definition of ’on’: being present and physically on stage. When ’on’, you’re not allowed to: make mistakes, fiddle with your hair, adjust your clothes, laugh, itch, sneeze, cough, fart, yawn, sneak peek, loose your focus, forget what to do, be ’off’. Definition of ’off’: not present yet physically on stage. When ’off’ you’re not allowed to: be ’on’.
