House of Bertha workshop for children "New Movers"

A workshop of creative dance dedicated to kids between six and twelve years old with Marta Coronado of House of Bertha. Children will be challenged to free their minds in order to be able to free their bodies. The class will be orientated to give them a chance to canalize their energy and to suggest them tools to control it or let it out depending of the intensity of their moves. We will give a lot of importance to classical and contemporary music to create a good atmosphere, a universe of tones and melodies that will bring their creativity to another level.

Marta Coronado is a spanish contemporary dance artist based in Brussels. She studied at the Escuela Oficial de Danza del Gobierno de Navarra and P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels. In 1998 Marta joined Rosas dance company where she worked for the next ten years as a dancer. In 2002 she was awarded a BESSIE (New York Dance and Performance Award). Marta is teaching in different organisations around the world such as PARTS, Rosas, Amsterdam Theatreschool, Impulztanz festival.
