"The Economy of Pleasure" is for the ones who usually stand by the bar, even though they long to let loose and dance, the ones who feel ridiculous during collective singing, or the ones who need to go abroad to be able to talk to strangers. This work is for those who have the will and the means to have fun but always settle for 'a nice time'.

"The Economy of Pleasure" is a training facility where instructors and visitors exercise in simulated festive situations. Together they confront their longing to have fun, and the hard work that it requires. By the end of the night it is put together to a complete choreography of rapture.

Poste Restante is a Swedish performance company who creates interactive performances where the visitor’s individual experience and active participation is the focal point. Since Poste Restante was founded in 2007, they have created pieces about their longings and hardships concerning questions such as melancholia, sexual affirmation and relation to God. Works include "The Secular Society", "The Dinner Club", "Azyl Fryderyk", "Chopins Heart" and "Mallorca".
