Sara Lindström & Gillie Kleiman work in progress showing

At the end of Sara Lindström (SWE/UK) and Gillie Kleiman's (UK) residency, they will give an informal showing of “A Lyrical Dance Concert”, followed by a talk/feedback session.

"A Lyrical Dance Concert" looks to investigate and expand lyrical dances manifestations, and, as the title suggests, towards the dissolution between the boundaries between dance performance and music performance. In the spirit of this questioning of forms, and with an eye to a growing interest in the gap or border between entertainment or leisure and art, Sara and Gillie are developing the research trajectory in the direction of the popular, working with pop music to produce new connections between the known and the unknown, the visible and the audible, the readable and the sensible.

The research will culminate in an informal showing on the 25th of March at 15.30 followed by a talk/feedback session. The showing will have limited capacity; if you wish to join RSVP to lindstrom.sara@gmail.com
