- Lucha Libre
We make sense and non-sense. We play games; stay true and are false. We find our way to get lost again.
“Lucha Libre” is a game of illusion and perception. It takes us on a journey of imaginary travels and deconstructed narratives. By curiously questioning the reading of codes and signs, addressing different ways of looking at authenticity – it leads us through alternative worlds and associations in an illogical and nonsensical way.
It’s an invitation to discover the friction that appears between the visible and the non-visible and compels you to fill in the gaps with your own imagination. A game between the performer and the audience. “Lucha Libre” is hot and cold. Slow and fast. Dark and light and sometimes dry and wet.
