Su 4.5.2025, 18:00-19:00, Eric Ericsonhallen
Konstmusiksystrar celebrates 10 years with a performance for all senses in co-arrangement with MDT, at Eric Ericsonhallen.
The celebratory event brings to the stage a reimagined version of DUNKA DUNKA, by Ellen Söderhult, co-developed with Tusen Tungor choir. The result is a moment of rest, a concert, a dance performance – all at once. It is a forest of colliding consistencies, emotional swells and textures performed by the choir, dancers, musicians and a DJ, featuring newly written art music, a punk prog outburst, asmr landscapes and a slowly melting dance concert.
Konstmusiksystrar is an association for composers and sound artists who define themselves as women and transgender. It was founded in 2014 by Lo Kristenson and Marta Forsberg, who were studying composition at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Today, Konstmusiksystrar has 270 composers associated with it, all of whom are represented on the organisation's website.
