Lustholmen 2023 is taking place all over Skeppsholmen: at MDT, Moderna Museet, Stockholm Toy Museum, Teater Galeasen and outdoors! Skeppsholmen is a small island, but small can feel big when you're lost or in a rush to get to a performance on time. In this programme, (and on our website) you find the location for each performance on the same page as the information about the performance itself.
When in doubt, ask one of the festival hosts or call MDT's office number: 08-611 14 56.
Book your tickets via MDT's website. You find all events under "Lustholmen" festival in the programme section. You Pay What You Can (between 60 SEK and 500 SEK) for each individual performance that tickles your fancy. Some events are free and for most of them you can simply show up. Exceptions to this rule are DACE's programme "Bergsspråk (Displaced)" and "The Gossip" by Stina Nyberg—both are free but as audience capacity is limited please book your ticket in advance. Klubb Lustholmen on June 9 also has a limited capacity, minimum donation to attend is 150 SEK.
Still have questions regarding tickets? Please email tickets@mdtsthlm.se and we’ll do our best to sort you out. For more information about our ticketing system Pay What You Can, visit our home page and scroll down.
Toilets are accessible in MDT foyer, open in conjunction with performances taking place on MDT's stage, in
Studio 1 and at Teater Galeasen. You can also find toilets at Moderna Museet during their regular opening hours. In conjunction with "The Gossip" by Stina Nyberg, toilets are accessible at Public Art Agency Sweden, alongside their exhibition space. All locations offer accessible toilets.
In the MDT foyer we sell a small selection of snacks, but if you're craving something more substantial we recommend the Restaurant at Moderna Museet, Café Bloom at ArkDes or our next-door neighbour Torpedverkstan. On most nights the food truck Munchie Picchu will be parked by MDT for your convenience. For more information follow us on social media or speak to a member of staff. The nearest Pressbyrån and café off-island are situated by Grand Hotel. Please check individual opening hours.
We have a 50×70 cm festival poster designed by Jonas Williamsson and limited edition long-sleeve unisex t-shirts designed by Fredrika Frykstrand in the MDT foyer.
Because there's a reward! Collect 10 different stickers (your tickets) on the back of our printed festival programme folder (available at MDT and Moderna Museet) and pick up a token of gratitude at the end of the festival in the MDT foyer.
