Lustholmen Festival 2023

Lustholmen is a festival with dance, choreography, music and art celebrating the start of summer with lust, life and light!

Skeppsholmen was called Lustholmen at the end of the 16th century when the island was used recreationally by the first Vasa-Kings, and since 2021 it is also the name of a festival run by MDT Moderna Dansteatern.

Lustholmen 2023 offers a dazzling five-day programme of dance and choreography, music and performance with performances in- and outdoors, on the island and inside the theatre. This year MDT is joining forces with neighbouring organisations Statens konstråd, Moderna Museet and ArkDes.
