MDT hosts Study Groups as part of our expanded Off Stage programme, usually to contextualise and expand the performances and practices presented in house. Through readings, discussions and other explorative material we are keen to provide opportunities for artists, MDT staff and audiences to study and learn together.

Reading Dance
Reading Dance is a study circle focused on the thought and theory that inform dance and choreography.

𝟯𝘇𝗮 𝟰 𝗚𝗮𝘇𝗮 is initiated by Nasreen Aljanabi Larsson and is organised in collaboration with Ar Utke Ács and Sal Reis Trouxa with financial support from Stockholm Stad. MDT is happy to open up our doors for this project!

Join us for a week of activity centred and inspired by Butler’s ‘Parable of the Sower’ including reading sessions of the novel, listening sessions, and group discussions on constellations of related topics such as consent, grief, and climate change.
