Fr 18.5.2018, 18:30-19:30, MDT
18th of May, before the performance of The most human, there is a film screening and talk about art and robotics. We show the film Naked by Tove Kjellmark, and a talk between Robin Jonsson, choreographer of The most human, and Anne Vigeland, curator and freelance critic. We will talk about subjets such as emotional relationships, presence and aesthetics in relation to robots in artistic works.
This will take place Friday 18th May at 18:30 in studio 1 at MDT, and is included in the performance ticket.
Tove Kjellmark is an artist, with a Master of Fine Arts from The Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm. In general her works circles around the human body. She uses traditional media as well as the latest technology, investigating new materials and aesthetics.
Anne Vigeland studied dance at The Royal Swedish Ballet School in Stockholm and at P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels. She has studied Art Theory at Stockholm University since 2015 and has recently been accepted as a new student at The International Master’s Programme in Curating Art, also at Stockholm University. Anne works amongst other things as a freelance critic for Scenkonstguiden, and is interested in curatorial strategies centered around the human body, performativity and forms of presence.
