Anna Öberg
INCUS
During her residency at MDT Anna Öberg has explored methods ad materials for the up coming performance "Incus" in close collaboration with Johannes Burström, Olof Misgeld, Elize Arvefjord and Charlotta Ruth. Inspired by musique concrete and folk traditions, passing on (Sw tradera) has worked as a leeway and creative method for slippages and generation of alternative "truths" with the goal of stepping beyond the obvious. "Incus" is a solo for three. A rhythmic play where sound and movement create temporary contexts and unexpected entanglements. Defiant and accommodating.
In "Incus" Anna Öberg returns to the core of her practice - listening and moving in and through rhythm. This time she herself on stage in close collaboration with musicians Johannes Burström and Olof Misgeld and sound designer Elize Arvefjord.
Incus is the name of one of the three bones of the middle ear, sv städet.
