Wallmans ballonger is the brainchild of Terry Johnson and Stina Nyberg. It was born out of a wish to have a place to have a drink alongside unreasonable performances, experimental desires and left-over dances.. While shitstorms and madness roam: a bar, an act and some kind of community.

At Lustholmen festival, Wallmans ballonger is hosting a cabaret. We welcome you to an evening of appetizing behinds, rusty house bands, seductive dancing and impressive artistry of dubious character.

A host who's lost in the tale they told.

A striptease reversed, with tassels and flair,
A stage full of longing and solace laid bare.
A trombone that wails in a sorrowful key,
A sea cucumber, a speech, and a touch of sorcery.

A balloon dance in defiant delight,
A bucket of paradox burst into flight.
All of it swirling in earnest and jest,
For laughter’s the weapon we've always possessed.

Terry Johnson is an independent producer with a fondness for collective work, underwhelming party tricks and fingerspitzgefühl. Stina Nyberg is a dancer and choreographer with a fondness for electricity, philosophy, and smut. Terry and Stina have been collaborating since 2015 and share an interest in situations where humor works in the service of the political.

Mar Fjell is a visual artist, musician and jack-of-all-trades with a big dog named Small. Mar also runs the imaginary karaoke club Seven Star Queer Bar with affiliates.

Hugo Hedberg is a choreographer and artist. Sometimes he dresses up in large things, like hands or curtains, and sings a song.

Dina Hamida is a dancer, stretching instructor, photographer, and choreographer who loves tea, politics and a sexy bra.

Thibault Lac is a performer and choreographer from France, whose favourite dancing shoe is the faun hoof. He loves-hates cosplay and has a passion for chihuahuas, flowers and doubt.

Sindri Runudde is a dancer and choreographer with a thousand strings on the lute of the body, and a fondness for poo and the backside of life.

Andros Zins-Browne was a member of the inaugural national inline basketball league (NIBBL) which was once translated from Spanish to English as “basketball, con rollerblades”. He scored once, on his own team’s basket.

Maja Čule is an artist and filmmaker. Katy Pyle is a dancer and choreographer. Together they make dances and films about the Kukumar/Morski Penis/Sea Cucumber and other matters to the heart.

Cajsa Godée is a queer dancer and choreographer drawn to investigations of sexuality and intimacy through humour, characters and an occasional balloon.

Kris Lee is a dancer, performer and DJ from New York, visiting Stockholm to slide into the cabaret in a slight cruising, slight drag king, slight dance kind of way.

Stina Fors is a choreographer, dancer and character existing in the borderland between body and voice, draping herself in grace and messy fabrics in order to entertain and poke some open wounds, when necessary.

Alex Franz Zehetbauer is a vocalist, performer, swamp troll, angel, and red-eyed demon based in Vienna, with treble resonating through many bodily orifices.
