MDT has developed a new ticketing system. Starting 2023, you will be able to choose a ticket category based on what you can afford to pay.
How does it work?
The price categories range from 75 to 500 SEK with a recommended price of 250 SEK. If you can afford to pay more and want to support MDT's work, and by extension the artists we collaborate with, you can choose to pay more out of solidarity. Tickets for all our performances can be booked via Nortic's website, here. You can also buy tickets in our box office, which opens one hour before the start of the performance. We accept credit and debit cards and cash.
Why the change?
This change is part of our ongoing work focussing on lowering thresholds and making our work more accessible so that more people can attend performances and access the dance field, especially in these economically fragile times. This new approach to ticketing is inspired by Kaaitheater in Brussels and other theatres internationally.
Do you give refunds for tickets if I can no longer make the performance?
We do not refund purchased tickets. However, in some cases it may be possible to exchange your ticket to see the performance on another night. Please note that this is subject to availability. If you can no longer make it to the event it is possible to transfer the ticket to a friend. Just remember to forward them the e-ticket received from Nortic when the purchase was made.
If you have further questions relating to ticket purchases, please contact Nortic’s customer service at biljett@nortic.se or +46 (0) 455-619700 (opening hours weekdays 10am – 2pm). Other times you can try to contact MDT via tickets@mdtsthlm.se – we will answer your query when time permits.

Welcome to MDT!
We are working towards making MDT the safest space it can be for all artists, audiences, visitors and staff. This work is ongoing, never finished, and MDT will always be open and responsive to challenge, change, and development of our policies and guidelines.
MDT positively encourages open discussion and debate, but we will not tolerate discrimination, harassment or hate speech in any form. We see the two as different, and reserve the right to intervene in any conversation or discussion where we feel as though discrimination, harassment or hate speech is being enacted.
By law, when we talk about discrimination we are referring to a set of protected characteristics which include age, disability, gender/sex expression, marital status, pregnancy and parenthood, race, religion and belief, sexual orientation and to this list we add class and educational background.
MDT actively requires everyone onsite, including all artists, audiences, visitors and staff, to show respect and courtesy to everyone we meet and work with at all times. If you have any questions or feel unsafe at any point, please speak to a member of MDT staff, or email: safety@mdtsthlm.se
