I struggle with some demons

They were middle class and tame

I didn't know I had permission

To murder and to maim

You want it darker

We kill the flame

- Leonard Cohen

Anna Vnuk, Lisen Rosell and Sandra Medina welcome you to an evening with things that rest or move quickly in the dark, things which can be difficult to touch but easy to feel. Open up your hearts. This is a gap in time. A caressingly beautiful sanctuary.

"You want it darker" is a performance that breaks loose among the dark nooks and crannies of our interiority. At the intersection of guilt and shamelessness, Medina, Vnuk and Rosell allow themselves to be inspired by medieval art and its frenzied approach to butt trumpets, science and torture. It was not easy to distinguish between punishment and entertainment in those days.

Sandra Medina, Lisen Rosell and Anna Vnuk shine together and they build a performance together. Each have worked across artistic disciplines for several years, with both choreography and theatre. Medina and Rosell met in the joint project "The Dark Heart and the Sweet Part" (2020). Together with Vnuk, this curiously driven trio now appears for the first time in a joint constellation.

Please note that this performance is presented in Swedish.
