- About Salka Ardal Rosengren
Salka Ardal Rosengren is a Swedish dancer and choreographer. In 2006 she moved to Brussels to study at PARTS where she graduated in 2010. After studying, Salka continued together with Mikko Hyvönen working and touring their piece Trash Talk (2010). Since then she has been performing in Daniel Linehan’s work Montage for three (2009) Zombie Aporia (2011) and Gaze is a Gap is a Ghost (2012). In 2011 Salka joined Low Pieces by Xavier Le Roy. She also re-staged Giszelle (2001) by Eszter Salamon & Xavier Le Roy. The summer of 2012 Salka took part in Tino Sehgal’s piece This Variation at dOCUMENTA (13) and in 2013 she helped setting up the piece at UCCA in Beijing. In spring 2013 Salka collaborated with Nicholas Hoffman on their duet The Thing With A Hook that premiered at MDT. She took part in Gorkij park (2014) by Gunilla Heilborn and danced in På spel (2015) by Malin Elgán. She’s currently working with Salva Sanchis and touring VOLCANO (2014)–a musical by Liz Kinoshita.
