Host Club
In the final presentation of Chris Leuenbergers two-week residency he wants to share his research on intimacy with audience members. He is interested in the intersection of ritual, performance and therapy.
Besides sharing traces of the ”Intimate walk” he made in Residence Botkryka, Chris will show excerpts of the solo works ”Masculinity” and ”Chanson triste” and try to place them in a post-feminist discourse. Moreover the audience will be invited to participate in some exercises based on shamanic rituals. Starting out from performative situations, moving on to interactive experiences and ending up in an open discussion, Chris will guide the public through the evening assuming the roles of performer, lecturer, facilitator and host. The aim is to experience and reflect on private and shared intimacy.
The residency presentation will be in Studio 2. The presentation is approx. 90 min.
