- THE CLOUD: a cosmo-choreography made by animals, vegetables, minerals, humans, concepts and emotions
The piece is a collaboration between, a theatre smoke-machine, light, air, plants, the architecture of the building, the weather outside, the performers and the heat of the audience. A cloud is a cluster of small particles, a dynamic, fragile system, that is very susceptible to any influences of its environment. A cloud is produced live on stage, in order to activate a sensory choreography of communication, in which everything is entangled with each other, disturbs each other.
Special guests: Plants & Empire who will offer a concert of plants before the show. Plants & Empire, the musicians Christina Ertl + Derek Shirley, work with sounds produced, generated, transformed and transmitted by plants. SXS Enterprise is an international group of artist. Next to their individual practices in film/video/music/performance /theory they occasionally come together to work within the field of performance as a possibility of aesthetic reflection and experience. They have explored different genres such as live film, story telling, rock opera, musical, lecture performance and now choreography. In a conscious reduction to DIY tools they engage in a critical practice while fully devoting themselves to the magic of theatre. http://sxsenterprise.com
