The gaze
“…it indicates at its point of emanation the location of the subject, and at its point of contact the location of the object…”*
"Liaisons" is a choreographic work addressing our sense of sight. In piece the potential and the state of the blurred vision is explored.
"Liaisons" is the first performance in a new series of works that are critically reflecting on how our different senses are affected by cultural and political structures.
The work is initiated by choreographer Marie Topp in close collaboration with Julia Giertz (sound), Mårten K. Axelsson (light design), Kenneth Bruun (dance), Olivia Riviere (dance), Igor Dobricic (dramaturgy) and Axel Norén (light).

Marie Topp
Marie Topp är koreograf och dansare. Hon är utbildad dansare vid Statens Scenekunstskole i Köpenhamn i 2009. Hon skapar verk i det fristående, internationella scenkonstfältet och har samarbetat med en rad konstinstitutioner, primärt i Danmark, Sverige och Tyskland tex Atalante, MDT, Kampnagel, Bora Bora, Reykjavik Dance Festival, Dansehallerne, Teater Momentum, Dansstationen och Inkonst. Nu senast har hon haft premiär på verket Hail to the Good Listener, ett beställningsverk till Dansk Danseteater. Parallellt med sin koreografiska praktik har hon erfarenhet som undervisare (DOCH, DDSKS,AFUK) och kurator (programmet för professionell träning i Dansehallerne). Mellan 2016-2019 var hon en del av Dansehallernes konstnärliga råd.
